Connect
Our mission:
At Connect Mental Health, we believe that no one should ever have to face life’s challenges on their own. We’re a peer-to-peer support group made up of real people who have walked their own mental health journeys. We’re not here to diagnose or “fix” you, we’re here to listen, to understand, and to remind you that you matter.
Our group was born in Lancashire, a place we love deeply, but also a place facing some of the highest rates of mental health struggles and loss of life by suicide. We saw friends, neighbors, and community members struggling in silence, and we knew something had to change. Out of that need, Connect Mental Health was created — to bring people together, offer a safe space, and break the cycle of loneliness and isolation.
Here, you’ll find a community that welcomes you exactly as you are. You can share your story, listen to others, or simply be present. We believe that connection is powerful, it can lift the heaviest days, spark hope in dark times, and remind you that brighter moments are ahead.
We’re here for the good days, to celebrate your wins, and we’re here for the hard days, to sit beside you when things feel too heavy to carry alone. We offer a space filled with empathy, mutual support, and genuine care, because sometimes, the smallest conversation can make the biggest difference.
If you’re struggling, feeling isolated, or just need to talk, you’ll find friends here who understand. At Connect Mental Health, you’re never just another face in the crowd, you’re part of a community that believes in you, stands with you, and walks beside you every step of the way. 💙
